Lens Replacement in St. Louis
We won't buff a scratch out of your lens - that distorts the optics - but we will put a new one in. Lens replacement runs alongside every frame repair we do for our St. Louis clients:
- Sunglass lens replacement, including tinted and polarized options
- Prescription lens replacement, available at select locations
- Replacement for scratched, cracked, or clouded lenses
- High-quality replacement lenses cut to match your frame's original fit and appearance
Lens replacement is quoted alongside your frame repair, so you get one firm price covering both instead of two separate bills.
Cleaning & Reconditioning in St. Louis
Beyond structural repair, we also offer full cleaning and reconditioning, available on its own or bundled with any frame repair:
- Deep ultrasonic cleaning β clearing built-up oil, dust, and grime from hinges and hard-to-reach spots
- Sanitizing β a thorough clean of the frame and nose pads
- Tightening & minor hardware care β snugging loose screws and hinges while your frames are on the bench
- Restoring shine β polishing away dullness and light surface buildup for a like-new look
Cleaning and reconditioning is priced separately, whether you send it in on its own or add it to a repair - you'll always get a firm price upfront.

What We Don't Handle for Our Clients in St. Louis
To set clear expectations before you print out your free shipping label:
- Scratch removal β buffing out scratches distorts the prescription lens surface. Scratched lenses must be completely replaced elsewhere.
- Frames that have gone brittle β older plastic frames that have dried out or turned chalky from years of heat and humidity cannot safely hold a weld.
- Melted or warped frames β acetate frames severely warped by being left on a dashboard or inside a car during a hot St. Louis summer afternoon usually cannot be reshaped.
