Your Repair Is Handled by Our Columbus, Ohio Center for Kentucky Customers

- Free Shipping Both Ways — absolutely no cost to use our mail-in service from Louisville, Lexington, Bowling Green, or anywhere else in Kentucky, and zero cost to return them.
- One Price, Told Upfront — no hidden fees or “estimates.” You approve a firm, transparent price before we touch your frames.
- Same-Day Turnaround — our master technicians finish your frame fixes the same business day they arrive at our main hub.
- A Person to Talk To — real, live support tracking your frames from your home to our center and back again, not an automated chat loop.
What We Fix for Eyewear Owners in Kentucky
With humid summers, mild but unpredictable winters, and a busy mix of horse country outings and everyday city commuting, local eyewear across Kentucky faces a unique combination of environmental stress and everyday wear. Here is what we repair most often for our clients on both everyday prescription glasses and designer sunglasses:
- Designer eyewear repair — Premium structural restoration for high-end frames so you don’t have to pay full retail price for replacements, offering a specialized alternative for designer eyewear repair Kentucky residents count on.
- Broken glasses repair — Cleanly repairing temples, hinges, and metal joints crushed or bent during hectic everyday routines.
- Titanium frame repair — Specialized gas-shielded laser welding that standard opticians across the state cannot perform in their shops, ensuring flawless titanium frame repair Kentucky customers can rely on.
- Frame welding repair — Providing advanced micro-laser frame welding repair for metal, wire, and specialty alloy frames that require a permanent molecular bond.
- Frame hinge repair — Specializing in loose, broken, or sheared spring mechanisms that require microscopic tooling to realign and fuse safely.
- Glasses temple repair — Fixing snapped, bent, or completely detached arms on metal, plastic, and rimless frames, a common glasses temple repair Kentucky residents ask for after a long day at the track or on the road.
- Frame bridge repair — Fusing the most frequent break point cleanly right over the nose on plastic, metal, and wire-rimmed frames.
- Rimless and drill-mount lens repairs — Precision micro-hardware replacement to keep sleek, minimalist glasses perfectly balanced.
- Full lens replacement — See below for details on sunglass and prescription lens replacement in Kentucky.
- Cleaning & reconditioning — See below for details on our standalone and add-on cleaning and reconditioning service.
- Frame polishing — Removing the dullness, cloudiness, and oxidation caused by humidity, bourbon country dust, or sunscreen buildup on acetate frames.
- Sunglass repair — Keeping your premium shades functional for sunny afternoons at the track, evenings on the bourbon trail, or everyday driving, providing the reliable sunglass repair Kentucky residents depend on.
If your exact damage isn’t listed, snap a photo and send it over anyway — our technicians routinely fix what local retail optical shops claim is impossible.
Lens Replacement in Kentucky
We won't buff a scratch out of your lens — that distorts the optics — but we will put a new one in. Lens replacement runs alongside every frame repair we do for our Kentucky clients:
- Sunglass lens replacement, including tinted and polarized options
- Prescription lens replacement, available at select locations
- Replacement for scratched, cracked, or clouded lenses
- High-quality replacement lenses cut to match your frame's original fit and appearance
Lens replacement is quoted alongside your frame repair, so you get one firm price covering both instead of two separate bills.
Cleaning & Reconditioning in Kentucky
Beyond structural repair, we also offer full cleaning and reconditioning, available on its own or bundled with any frame repair:
- Deep ultrasonic cleaning — clearing built-up oil, dust, and grime from hinges and hard-to-reach spots
- Sanitizing — a thorough clean of the frame and nose pads
- Tightening & minor hardware care — snugging loose screws and hinges while your frames are on the bench
- Restoring shine — polishing away dullness and light surface buildup for a like-new look
Cleaning and reconditioning is priced separately, whether you send it in on its own or add it to a repair — you'll always get a firm price upfront.

What We Don’t Handle for Our Clients in Kentucky
To set clear expectations before you print out your free shipping label:
- Scratch removal — buffing out scratches distorts the prescription lens surface. Scratched lenses must be completely replaced elsewhere.
- Frames that have gone brittle — older plastic frames that have dried out or turned chalky from years of humidity and sun exposure cannot safely hold a weld.
- Melted or warped frames — acetate frames severely warped by being left on a dashboard or inside a car during a hot Kentucky summer afternoon usually cannot be reshaped.
Brands We Repair for Customers in Kentucky
No matter what brand you are wearing, our center handles it: Ray-Ban, Oakley, Maui Jim, Persol, Oliver Peoples, Prada, Gucci, Versace, Silhouette, Tom Ford, Chanel, Bvlgari, Cazal, Serengeti, Safilo, and most other luxury, everyday, or vintage eyewear styles.
If your specific frame designer isn’t listed here, just ask — we fix nearly every brand on the market.
